As the Corporate & Employment Brand Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing an annual communication strategy and plan (through various channels) for Brunswick’s global employees and potential talent. The Corporate & Employment Brand Communications Manager will have a primary role leading internal communications strategy and execution to help transform and modernize the way we connect with our more than 15,000 employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create modern, compelling content across multiple channels including video, print, newsletter, company intranet, company website, emails and blogs. 
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team to develop and execute a communication strategy and plan for Brunswick employees as it relates to employee benefits and open enrollment. 
  • Collaborate with the Global Talent & Development team to develop and execute a communication strategy and plan for Brunswick employees as it relates to professional development opportunities and enterprise talent management activities. 
  • Develop content that positions Brunswick as an employer of choice to support our Talent Acquisition initiatives 
  • Develop research-based and data-driven personas to segment Brunswick’s internal audience for use in targeting messages to audience segments 
  • Plan and create communications (including announcements, presentations, videos, investor relations content, etc.) 
  • Develop content for Brunswick.com corporate site 
  • Manage the content calendar and copy for all of Brunswick’s social channels (including: LinkedIn, Facebook, Glassdoor, Twitter) 
  • Establish metrics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications

Employee-Facing Intranet:

  • Serve as the owner for Brunswick’s global intranet 
  • Train, coach, and support others on how to add, delete, and edit content 
  • Recommend improvements/enhancements 
  • Ensure usability, functionality, and navigation 
  • Monitor and edit (as necessary) intranet postings and activities 
  • Serve as primary intranet support for employees 
  • Serve as Brunswick’s main point-of-contact for intranet vendor(s) and as liaison between Information Technology (IT) and intranet vendor(s) 
  • Ensure regular and timely updates to news and events, as well as additional intranet pages

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years of experience; agency experience preferred 
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or Creative Writing 
  • Experience developing and executing corporate communication strategies and plans 
  • Knowledge of internal/employee communications and intranet management 
  • Proven experience using a variety of communication channels and tools 
  • Proven track record of planning and flawlessly executing enterprise-wide communication programs with measurable results. 
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence and drive alignment among stakeholders across all levels and functions 
  • Human resources experience a plus 
  • Experience with SharePoint and Marketing Cloud, a plus 
  • Consistent attention to detail 
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Clear communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
