As a corporate communications specialist dedicated to client communications, this individual will have the chance to perform a wide range of communications activities in support of Prime’s clients. This position will collaborate with the client communications manager and others on the corporate communication team to carry out communications projects primarily for external audiences (Prime’s clients). He or she will execute communications using Prime’s communication channels, which include (but are not limited to): Prime’s Client Portal internet site and Salesforce / Pardot, Prime’s Customer Relationship Management database used for client email distribution.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the client communication team in the areas of researching, writing, editing and project management. 
  • Post content and manage content on Prime’s Client Portal. 
  • Send emails using Salesforce / Pardot. 
  • Maintain and update client communications calendars. 
  • Develop communication plans primarily for external audiences. 
  • Plan upcoming communications tactics; document and track communications tactics on an ongoing basis. 
  • Monitor the client communication inbox, dealing effectively with incoming requests, and providing tactical support for creating and sending outgoing messages. 
  • Manage the review and approval process for assigned projects to guarantee appropriate approval and that messaging meets all regulatory requirements and brand standards. 
  • Track and report communications distribution and readership. 
  • Assist with supporting other communication projects as needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required 
  • 2 years of work experience in related marketing, corporate communications or agency roles 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with both project management and time management; proven ability to meet tight deadlines and budget constraints 
  • Experience communicating directly with employees and external audiences 
  • Ambitious self-starter eager to grow and willing to take on additional responsibilities 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • General experience with content management systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare industry, ideally in Health Plan or Pharmacy Benefit Management setting 
  • Strong proficiency in Power Point, Word and Excel

Minimum Physical Job Requirements:

  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear 
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms 
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch 
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

  • Reports to Sr Professional, Director or Sr Director in the Corporate Communications department
