Walsh is currently seeking a Corporate Experience Database Analyst to work in our Marketing Department located in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between marketing, IT, and business groups to provide solutions and business requirements for internal application and data repository development 
  • Champion the effort to market the Corporate Experience Database (CED) as the repository system and source of truth for content and project data 
  • Analyze and update existing data, eliminating irrelevant or duplicate data and researches correct information when necessary 
  • Implement and manage policies for proper data collection and procedures to ensure data quality/integrity 
  • Serve as the go-to resource company wide to store, retrieve, and best utilize historical project information 
  • Serve as liaison and lead efforts for the CED Task Force to complete 
  • Maintain platforms and solutions with IT for managing and integrating data between operational systems, data repositories, and reporting and analytical applications 
  • Recommend best practices and manage the information uploaded to the Corporate Information and Proposal Data SharePoint sites

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related degree or relevant experience 
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in the AEC industry 
  • Experience with electronic knowledge, repository management, portals, collaborative tools 
  • Highly responsive with demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management 
  • Strong written communication skills 
  • Exceptional relationship building/relationship management skills to establish rapport, build trust and confidence, and manage customer expectations 
  • Collaborative, team player 
  • Attention to detail and excellent proofreading abilities 
  • High comfort level working independently and collaborating in a virtual, global environment 
  • Strategic and innovative thinker with critical problem-solving skills 
  • Understands the industry, relevant marketplace trends and competitive environment 
  • Efficiently work under pressure in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
