Position Summary:

We’re looking for a versatile designer who appreciates not only the “big idea,” but also the most miniscule detail. Someone who can apply strategic and visual design on everything from brand and campaigns to print and web. Your passion to craft exceptional experiences inspires others. You’re a self-starter who’s driven to explore and try new things. You can effectively articulate your design decisions and back them up with sound logic.

You’ll be responsible for collaborating with creative teams to elevate the design and visual language across all Life Time brands. You should be comfortable handling multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations, re-prioritizing when needed, communicating progress along the way, and delivering on deadlines.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Expert problem solving to take multi-channel projects from ideation to launch in collaboration with diverse, cross-functional teams 
  • Strong interactive skills with special care for designing responsive and accessible experiences 
  • Contribute to various large-scale digital projects including websites, branding, content, campaigns, and more 
  • Build presentations, craft documentation, create shared resources, and assets for development 
  • Translate business strategy into creative execution that drives measurable results 
  • Ability to lead internal teams, accept feedback, and contribute where necessary 
  • Work closely with marketing and creative directors to ensure brand story is communicated through visual and copy 
  • Responsible for developing compelling content for online and offline projects

Position Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in related field or 4+ years of design and interactive work 
  • 5 to 10 years of related work experience 
  • Strong online portfolio showcasing your visual aesthetic and understanding of designing intuitive experiences 
  • Proficiency with Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud 
  • Ability communicate and collaborate with UX designers and developers 
  • Experience coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (nice to have) 
  • Familiarity with manual and automated accessibility testing
