Concordia University seeks applications for the full-time, exempt position of Digital Advertising Lead. This position is for a strategically minded, digitally savvy individual who knows how to deliver on both volume and quality of leads. This person will have the critical responsibility of leading our paid search and social efforts. Serving Concordia University Wisconsin, Concordia University Ann Arbor, as well as our regional centers and online presences, this role is housed in the Office of Strategy and University Affairs in the Marketing Department. This position is housed in Mequon, WI and reports directly the Director of Online Experience

  • Manage all paid search and social campaigns 
  • Write copy for all search engine marketing campaigns 
  • Assist in the management of programmatic and display advertising 
  • Assist in the management of paid content syndication and influencer marketing 
  • Work collaboratively with marketing strategists to understand priorities, maintain accuracy, and achieve lead generation goals 
  • Utilize Google Analytics, Hubspot, and platform analytics to optimize campaigns 
  • Provide reporting updates to the Marketing Department 
  • Work closely with colleagues in the Online Experience team to optimize landing pages for our campaigns 
  • Stay informed of changes, best practices, and innovations in digital advertising industry 
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Expert level ability in managing search engine marketing campaigns on Google and Bing platforms. 
  • Strong experience and track record of success with paid social including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn advertisements. 
  • Experience with a/b testing 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills 
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple data sources in order to optimize campaigns
  • Certification in Google AdWords strongly preferred 
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to occasionally travel and work on weekends 
  • Passion for Concordia's mission 
  • An Associate's Degree (Bachelor's is preferred), and 2 years of experience managing search engine marketing. Agency experience preferred.

This is a full-time, exempt position. Starting range is dependent upon individual qualifications and experience.
