Digital Copywriter/Content Developer
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

C2's client seeks a 4-6 month full-time digital copywriter/content developer

C2 client, a digital design and development firm, is searching for a copywriter/content developer to support internal efforts and clients in continued marketing automation efforts and customer engagement. Sample tasks include sales documentation writing and editing, business development content authoring and planning, support with marketing efforts including white papers, blog posts, articles, presentations, press releases, trade events and social media.

Start date: December 3, 2018

Duration: 4-6 months, full time

Location: Onsite at their Walker's Point location

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Production, and Creative teams to develop content for internal and client initiated marketing projects.
  • Responsible for developing, writing, and editing content for both online and offline communications including white papers, blog posts, articles, social posts, etc. This will include work on behalf of clients as well as internal marketing efforts.
  • Create and manage ongoing content calendars.
  • Participate in and sometimes lead ideation and brainstorming of content and concepts.
  • Ensure copy tone and style are with visual tone, style and brand guidelines.
  • Lead message mapping/brainstorming sessions for client projects.
  • Provide assistance to sales team members on daily activities including contract and presentation development, proofreading, and sales documentation.
  • Periodically assist with sales pitches and coordination of resources for pitch production and delivery. 
  • Identify marketing opportunities and new avenues for customer acquisition.

  • Pro-active approach to information gathering for assignments.
  • Some client engagement; always friendly, prompt and professional with emphasis on high-level of service.
  • Develop and maintain positive and respectful relationships with clients and coworkers.
  • Works well in a group, and follows direction from senior-level team members, while proactively communicating issues and problems that arise.
  • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to work in fast paced environment on several projects with tight deadlines.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo or other marketing automation tools
  • Previous experience with digital marketing strategy and tactics, including SEO, PPC, and Social Media
  • Comfortable using Google Analytics or similar tools

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
