So we can continue to spread the word about great cheese and moment meant for celebrating, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Undergrad or Graduate student to raise the bar and join our Marketing team as a paid Digital Marketing Intern during the 2018 – 2019 school year, located in our Fitchburg, WI corporate office. We’re in need of a self-proclaimed foodie who can develop captivating social and digital content for national cheese brands. Your creativity, passion for food, design acumen and copywriting skills will be used to create and execute content that drives consumer engagement.

We understand that your studies are important. This opportunity offers flexible hours between 15 – 20 per week and the chance to build upon your learnings and experience.

The person in this role will primarily be involved in the creation and execution of the social media strategies for our brands. You will assist with creating trendy, engaging, modern, unique authentic and personal content, as well as digital marketing and public relations.

Other duties include:

  • Assist in generating traffic to websites and social media sites
  • Plan and execute social media editorial calendars and promotions
  • Write and edit website information, blogs, social posts, and presentations
  • Schedule and publish social media posts 
  • Review incoming press and internet sites covering Emmi Roth brands
  • Learn and apply principles for framing social media posts for a variety of platforms to reflect desired messaging
  • Proofread social media posts literature for style, content, and consistency
  • Assist with monitoring social communities and measuring social impact
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, maintain complete and accurate records, and give regular reports on the status of projects
  • Undergrad (junior or senior) or graduate student working toward a degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications, or advertising, although other degrees may be considered
  • Must be well acquainted with social media developments, online behavior, and trends
  • Experience creating social or digital content for a business, an organization or a club 
  • Impeccable attention to detail, specifically in regards to written communications
  • Strong understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms and tools
  • Experience with Wordpress strongly preferred Photography and design experience a plus
