Provides leadership for the profitable growth of the heating and plumbing businesses in the U.S. market. Responsible for managing the sales force in designated territories in the U.S., including revenue and sales development, demand planning, distribution management and field technical support.

Estimate 60-80% travel time.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops the sales strategy and region marketing plans. 
  • Maintain relation with top wholesaler key accounts. 
  • Coach/Mentor/and Manage the Technical Sales Representative and Sales Managers for their territory to ensure individual territory goals are met. 
  • Works with Sales Operations/Channel Marketing, the National Builder Sales Manager, and the Director, Sales Commercial to drive alignment with regional sales strategy. 
  • Setting strategy for Rep Groups to drive alignment and engagement. 
  • Manages regional budgets while ensuring resources are appropriately allocated based on department priorities. 
  • Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives.

Education, Experience and Knowledge: (The type of formal education, type/amount of experience and knowledge that would typically be needed to successfully perform in the position.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related fields. 
  • Proven management ability 
  • Minimum 10 years industry experience 
  • Strong project management skills as demonstrated through development and execution of successful, comprehensive business plans. 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral. 
  • Ability to support multiple priorities with minimum resources. 
  • Goal-oriented, taking initiatives to achieve objectives. 
  • Profit-driven customer focused. 
  • Ethical, team-oriented, and willingness to learn.
