Email Marketing Manager

Description:

Manages RSNA's email communication strategy in support of organizational marketing goals. Responsible for developing email campaigns in conjunction with content creators; creating, testing and deploying emails; and collecting and interpreting email analytics. Formulates data-driven recommendations to improve email performance and advocates for email best practices.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Manages RSNA's email communications, including campaign development and automation strategy. 
2. Designs, tests and deploys emails. Creates and updates email templates as needed. Improves email communications through regular testing. Responsible for quality assurance for all email communications. 
3. Creates and segments email lists. Regularly interfaces with Enterprise Data and Information Management teams regarding list data. 
4. Works with marketing managers to track and analyze email campaign performance. Develops analytics reports and recommendations to improve email performance. 
5. Responsible for keeping abreast of data privacy regulations, including CAN-SPAM, CASL and GDPR, and working with Information Management to ensure RSNA's email activities are compliant 
6. Act as subject matter expert for RSNA's email platform and email best practices. Provides training to staff members as needed. 
7. Supports ongoing website maintenance by making updates in the content management system.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required. 
2. Minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant professional experience in marketing environment 
3. Proficiency with email platforms and marketing automation technology; experience with Real Magnet preferred. 
4. Experience with HTML, CSS and Adobe Creative Suite. 
5. Experience with Google Analytics and content management systems highly desirable. 
6. Experience establishing timelines. 
7. Strong oral and written communication skills with keen attention to detail. 
8. Strong project management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines. 
9. Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed recommendations. 
10. Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to an organization's mission.
