Referee is an established and rapidly growing company headquartered in Racine, Wis., that produces magazines, educational materials, sports-specific content and a full line of books and publications since 1976. Additionally, our staff manages the day-to-day operations for the National Association of Sports Officials, a 29,000+ non-profit membership organization.
The ideal candidate will provide meeting management and support for the company as well as the national non-profit organization, which the company manages. Primary responsibilities include managing all aspects of one large annual conference (400+ attendees) and several ad hoc meetings. Additionally, the position requires project management on multiple sales, marketing and administrative efforts unrelated to event planning. The Event Planner will be the primary liaison with our host hotels and is responsible for managing and planning meetings, onsite execution for the annual conference, customer service to our support organizations, and preparing communication items in tandem with the marketing and design teams.
