The Corporate Field Consultant is responsible for providing operational training to new and existing locations within our system while assessing and creating action plans. The Corporate Field Consultant will also oversee the annual corporate location marketing plan and performs other marketing related duties to enhance restaurant system sales and profitability. This position entails operational and marketing components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with facilitating store opening training for up to 14 consecutive days. 
  • Ensures new store opening training procedures are implemented to build a guest focused environment while assisting the Manager in Training & Field Trainers 
  • Trains franchise owners, managers, and employees at assigned store openings in all operational policies and procedures. 
  • Deliver training on-site in both corporate and franchise locations to ensure those individuals are executing all operational procedures correctly and according to Cousins Subs guidelines. 
  • Implement the annual marketing plan at corporate locations, create corporate Local Store Marketing (LSM) plan, manage budget and execute pln. Communicate marketing plans to corporate personnel through written or verbal communication, store visits and monthly GM meetings. 
  • Lead and present marketing section of corporate GM meetings 
  • Respond to special requests for marketing related assistance from corporate GMs and corporate operations team. 
  • Assist in System Field Trainings, Training Workshops & Co-op Meetings as needed 
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed 

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Works as a trainer for special events other activities when assigned. 
  • Participates in the development, organization, and updates of all manuals, tests, and training programs.
  • Attend annual meetings and other company events 
  • Participate in various committees

Qualifications:

  • Requires education generally equivalent to an Associate’s degree in Management/Sales/Marketing or Business Administration. 
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 
  • Requires 3-5 years related experience in operations and marketing in a restaurant or service organization.

Skills:

  • Must have the ability to work in a team or individual setting.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient on all Cousins Subs policies and procedures and be able to demonstrate, explain, and train on every store operational function.
  • Requires the ability to use a computer and all applicable software necessary to perform the duties of the position.
  • Requires the ability to operate a variety of restaurant equipment such as power slicer, knives, oven, grill, microwave oven, POS systems and training equipment such as LCD projectors and audio/video players.
  • Requires the ability to travel on company business approximately 50-75% of the time, with some overnight stays, to support system training needs. Travel time is likely to increase with future system growth and during periods of system-wide project launches.
