The Field Social Media Specialist is a key member of the Social Media Team. This role is responsible for providing training, support and resources to associates across the firm on how they can maximize social media usage for business and drives adoption of company provided tools (Hearsay Systems) to help accomplish this.

  • Establish yourself as the primary inbound support channel for internal associates that have questions on the Hearsay platform and or how to leverage social media for business
  • Partner with IT, Compliance, Legal and Risk Management to ensure Baird social media remains compliant and all departments are working with the common goal of advancing the program throughout the firm.
  • Develops and maintains training materials, how to guides and intranet content focused on leveraging social media for business.
  • Responsible for the coordination of social media content with others on the social media team, and leveraging this content within a field content library, writing social media posts, and creating opt in social media campaigns for financial advisors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business technology, journalism or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a client services or customer relations role.
  • Experience managing social media campaigns or programs at an enterprise level; this includes managing Facebook business pages, Twitter streams, LinkedIn accounts, YouTube channels, business blogs, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment that requires constant change and adaptability.
  • Strong cross-team and customer communication and relationship management skills.
