Global Corporate Communications Manager

The Global Corporate Communications Manager leads the communications functions to include content marketing, public relations, social media and executive communications. In this critical position, you are accountable for driving new innovative strategies and successful development through execution of public relations, digital, social media, promotions, advertising and event communications. This includes media relations, internal and external messaging, global marketing communications and customer event promotions. In this role, you will have the ability to directly impact the global brand and competitive advantage of Zinpro. The ideal candidate has strong leadership presence; understands business strategies, excels in written and oral communications and is a critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. Business travel is expected to be 10-15% of work time.


  • Create, implement and manage the external communications, public relations, social media, and digital content strategy plan for the organization to achieve business objectives that focus on promoting global brand recognition and coverage and partnering with regional marketing teams in key markets. 
  • Lead corporate content strategy for key messaging tied to company vision, brand positioning, competitive advantages including development for company website, customer on-line solutions and intranet sites. 
  • Collaborate across the regional divisions to adapt the strategy to meet local market needs and to ensure messages are relevan 
  • Engage and manage relationships with external media outlets across many platforms, with specific focus on digital news and online media. 
  • Identify opportunities and innovative ways to leverage public & media relations, social media and event channels. 
  • Serve as company spokesperson in addition to developing additional spokesperson talent. 
  • Maintain connection with industry and functional trends, adapting strategy as necessary. Engage local and online media, including media engagement at customer events. 
  • Manage communications and PR efforts related to mergers and acquisitions. 
  • Support reputation management and crisis communications. 
  • Design, develop, create, and execute digital campaigns using marketing automation and analytics platforms for internal communications. 
  • Develop and execute an internal communications strategy, including key messages for executives. 
  • Manage success metrics & monitor reporting (ROI) for earned, owned, paid and social media. 
  • Maintain P&L ownership for marketing budget. 
  • Oversee the corporate communications, public relations, social media and design teams. 
  • Select, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure effectiveness and alignment with goals and initiatives. 
  • Cultivate a high performing team by building skills through coaching, mentoring and ongoing training and development.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related field. 
  • A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in marketing, communications, public relations and social media, preferably in a global matrixed organization. 
  • Outstanding written communication and interpersonal skills; strong track record of successfully serving as company spokesperson and ability to build and develop strong relationships. 
  • Strong ability to craft compelling, commercially relevant messages. 
  • Public relations and digital news/online/social media experience within a global organization. 
  • Strong leadership, planning, project management and execution skills. 
  • Proven ability to lead, facilitate, influence, and organize across groups at multiple levels of an organization. 
  • Proven experience developing and cultivating strong working relationships and credibility with geographically dispersed stakeholders at multiple levels. 
  • Critical thinking ability; independently and proactively identify problems, propose solutions and execute. 
  • Familiar with variety of global marketing and animal nutrition concepts, practices, and procedures. 
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator Photoshop). 
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems ( and Pardot).

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Agriculture-related education and/or experience.
