Job Overview:

The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for planning and executing all marketing communications initiatives for the Mar Cor division of Cantel Medical to drive brand awareness and market share. The manager will be directly responsible for coordinating all promotional communications related to the Mar Cor portfolio, and will be involved in the development of a new brand strategy for the division.

Additionally, this position will drive the development and implementation of support materials and services, digital strategy and content and all trade show and event coordination. This role has the potential to lead a direct report(s).

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Manages the process to develop a new brand strategy for the Mar Cor division that will serve as the foundation to create new graphics, messaging, promotional tools, ad strategy and digital content 
  • Identifies and manages opportunities for market research projects related to brand strategy development 
  • Creates, measures and reports on key metrics to track campaign performance and to ensure corporate and team targets are achieved

Internal/External Communication

  • Collaborates with key marketing and sales team members to capture and deliver upon the promotional needs of the business, including digital content, brochures, sales tools, websites, advertisements and external communications with support of an outside agency 
  • Creates a strong digital strategy and presence to drive global awareness and adoption of the Mar Cor division’s products, services and brand 
  • Develop and edit PowerPoint powerful presentations on behalf of the marketing team for use in both internal and external communications

Project Management

  • Establishes and manages marcom project tasks and timelines to ensure best practices in the development of Mar Cor website and marketing materials, including the creation of strong and compelling content and design that result in creative communications that are on strategy, on brand, and on deadline. 
  • Manages programs for special marketing events including national convention exhibits, regional and customer seminars, as well as the annual National Sales Meeting 
  • Identifies and develops opportunities to improve marcom process efficiencies to drive best practices across the division and organization

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive corporate or agency communications experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in a marketing communications, business, or marketing related field; or, 5+ years with a Master’s Degree 
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or other highly regulated industry is preferred 
  • Ability to comprehend and articulate complex product attributes and functionality 
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience managing agency relationships 
  • Experience in developing and executing strategies that optimize communications effectiveness and efficiency 
  • Experience in developing and managing to performance metrics for the communications team 
  • Experience in developing digital strategy and maintaining digital marketing content
