The Global Trade Show and Conference Coordinator will assist with the development and implementation of an effective corporate event program that supports the marketing and corporate strategic plans. This individual will support the Corporate Events and Services Manager with managing and executing corporate events to include all trade shows and conferences. Assist with other marketing duties as required. The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, an excellent communicator who works well under pressure.

  • Coordination of all aspects of both Domestic and International tradeshows and conferences
  • Assist in global trade show strategy and planning. Responsible for trade show execution that is consistent with overall brand guidelines.
  • Oversee annual trade shows and conferences calendar.
  • Ensure delivery of trade shows and conferences are within budget.
  • Manage outside vendors for shows including but not limited to utilities – electrical and plumbing, furniture rental, and other show services.
  • Working with outside agency to build and assemble displays and graphics.
  • Management of equipment inventory.
  • Proactively communicate project status, program deadlines, identifying any areas of concern or problems with associated solutions to the Corporate Events and Services Manager.
  • Support marketing strategies and objectives by participation in the identified key tradeshows and conferences to reach out target customers.
  • Utilize metrics and processes to measure event success, providing analysis and recommendations to the Corporate Events and Services Manager for continual program improvement.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. Preferred 2-3 years of experience with strong emphasis on tradeshows.
  • Excellent project management skills. Proven ability to effectively lead projects from inception through implementation.
  • Collaborative approach with peer interactions and work cross functionally with other departments to support business goals and objectives.
  • Experience with vendor management and negotiating contracts.
  • Must have superb verbal and written skills.
  • Passionate, detail orientated and extremely well organized with an ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects.
  • 20% travel required, domestic and international (may include evenings and weekends)
