The Milwaukee Bucks are looking for a passionate graphic design intern for their upcoming season who wants to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and learn the ins and outs of brand strategy and visual design in the sports industry. The intern will be assisting the creative/marketing department with their day-to-day operations on a wide range of projects, including creating innovative, visually impactful designs, both for digital initiatives and printed collateral that maintain the continuity and integrity of the Milwaukee Bucks brand.

  • Support and collaborate with the creative/marketing team
  • Assisting the creative/marketing team in designing for both digital and print, including digital campaigns, arena graphics and other promotional materials such as invitations, logos/lockups, postcards, brochures, flyers, signage, advertisements, etc.
  • Work with existing creative and deliver supporting designs, as well as execute original designs based on supporting strategy and brand guidelines
  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions, reviews and other creative collaboration
  • Basic layout and typography knowledge
  • Possesses exceptional skills in adobe creative suite on Mac Platform- specifically indesign, photoshop, illustrator and lightroom (After effects is a plus)
  • Great communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed professional attitude, creative, resourceful and a problem solver
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with changing priories
  • Knowledge of the sports industry and marketing a team/brand, experience working for a sports team is a plus 
  • Must be enrolled in a college or university at junior or senior level standing with a major focused in Graphic Design
