PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In collaboration with the Creative Director, the Digital Graphic Designer, utilizes exceptional design skills and trends to create and drive original design solutions for the customer experience. The Digital Graphic Designer develops concepts and executes design and artwork that appropriately reflect the brand. This individual will report directly to the Creative Director, and collaborate closely with the Creative Team, Global Marketing and all external stakeholders. The Digital Graphic Designer will partner with the Creative Traffic Manager to ensure all scheduled dates are met and final files delivered on time and ready for internal and external vendors.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Conceives, designs and produces digital design solutions for all product launches and assigned design projects. 
  • Utilizes and demonstrates knowledge of current trends in digital and print technology, color, styles and formats that enhance user experiences with unique design solutions. 
  • Uses own original and creative thinking to develop concepts and finished design solutions from rough ideas, based on the customers’ needs and positioning of the product. Present creative concepts to internal clients and external clients if needed. 
  • Leads photo and video shoots through planning and execution stages. Works with Creative Director to ensure all photography produced illustrates the goal of the project and reflects appropriate branding. 
  • Works with Creative Director, Traffic Manager and Internal Clients to ensure feasibility of designs, budgets, functional needs (digital, brand communications, print) and overall needs. 
  • Collaborates effectively cross-functionally with Creative and Global Marketing team, Product Management, photographers and third-party agencies. 
  • Provides production of visual communications media for web and print. 
  • Performs other ad hoc and related tasks and duties as required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years of graphic design experience in concepts, design, typography, color and traditional production methods 
  • Must have a working knowledge and advanced skill-set of all digital media including; web site design, mobile conversion, e-mail creation and delivery 
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Advanced skillset with Macintosh workstations, Macintosh computer design applications, and Adobe Cloud Software and network printers. 
  • Ability to meet short and long deadlines, and switch gears quickly 
  • A confident verbal and written communicator who takes initiative and likes a challenge 
  • Continuous learning to keep skills and industry knowledge current 
  • Proven ability to multitask assignments with maintaining a high level of accuracy and detail 
  • Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies

EDUCATION:

  • B.A. in Graphic Arts, Design or equivalent
