Internal Communications Manager - Commercial Banking

We’re looking for a passionate communicator to provide internal and executive communications support for Commercial Banking’s Treasury and Digital Solutions team.

Commercial Banking is investing in our treasury and digital solutions as we transform the way we do business and, ultimately, to transform the experiences of those that matter the most to us—our clients and employees. We’re seeking an excellent, creative, knowledgeable and adventurous communicator to keep our employees up to date on this team’s hard work and accomplishments.

This communicator will plan and execute a communications strategy to support the head of the business and share and celebrate our treasury and digital solutions journey and successes. This role requires a self-starter that can plan and execute projects strategically, efficiently and innovatively. Being an excellent writer, creative thinker, hard worker, visual storyteller and a can-do attitude are also necessary attributes for this role.


  • Support the Head of Treasury and Digital Solutions with all communications needs, including executive messages, presentations, town halls, speaking engagements and support external communications activity partnering with the public relations team.
  • Work closely with CB’s Treasury and Digital Solutions Leadership Team to support their strategic communications needs
  • Execute surround-sound internal communications campaigns to showcase our treasury and digital team’s mission and journey—past, present and future
  • Identify key milestones to celebrate internally and externally, generating excitement and awareness around important initiatives, celebrating wins and driving employee engagement
  • Streamline and standardize email communications processes and branding for the Treasury and Digital Solutions team by providing oversight for clarity and consistency
  • Oversee newsletters and intranet news sites to keep employees informed
  • Write, edit and maintain quality control of various internal content
  • Partner closely with design team to tell visual stories


  • 6+ years of experience in journalism or internal communications
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills
  • Ability to identify, tell and share great stories
  • Basic understanding of the financial services industry
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations
  • High level of independence, energy and integrity; demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and accepts accountability and responsibility
  • Ability to effectively advise, partner and collaborate with executive team members and peers in order to execute on assignments
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Additional software skills (e.g., Photoshop, HTML) a plus
  • Act as a team player and be willing to collaborate and contribute on both a strategic and tactical level
