IT Manager

JP Cullen is seeking an experienced, service orientated IT professional to plan, direct, and manage the daily operations of the IT department for Cullen. This position will report to the CFO.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality IT end user service to organization.
• Ensure that the intent of Cullen policies, procedures and quality standards is follwed in accordance with our Quality Management System.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
• Develop, recommend and implement specific objectives and strategies to maintain an effective corporate management information system as approved.
• Develop, recommend and implement operational policies and procedures related to applications as approved.
• Manage the budgets for all assigned areas.
• Negotiate purchases of IT hardware, IT Projects, and IT software.
• Oversee the installation and operation of network servers.
• Develop, implement and maintain information sources such as files, databases, data security, and control and disaster recovery systems.
• Perform additional assignments as requested by supervisor.
• Manage IT specialist and network administrator
• Mentor and train systems users.

Technical Qualifications:

• Fundamentals network skills (Experience with Cisco Switches, Sophos firewall and wireless access point configurations)
• Manage Microsoft Exchange, SQL servers, EMC storage utilization, and Citrix.
• Design backup and off-site storage
• Knowledge of VoIP and video-conference communications (WebEx)
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 2012 Server, Active Directory, Exchange 2010, DNS server.

Position Background Requirements:

• Prefer 8+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years of people management experience
• Four-year college degree with emphasis on computer science or equivalent combinations of education and experience
• Good understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc.
• Must posses superior communication and interpersonal (facilitation, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills
• Requires a pro-active, resourceful and positive attitude
• Has to be a self-motivated person who is able to effectively manage multiple deadlines and internal requests
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Collaborative; team player
