What You’ll Do:

The Marketing & Communications Associate will promote the Physicians Realty Trust brand in digital and printed marketing efforts through the execution of the company’s marketing and communications strategies. The Marketing & Communications Associate will produce effective and visually impactful graphic design solutions from concept to publication for internal and external audiences while maintaining brand guidelines. Typical projects include creative collateral and data visualizations for conferences, meetings, trade shows, online communications, internal reporting, and more.

  • Collaborate to plan, develop, produce, and deliver marketing and communications materials
  • Produce content for digital and printed marketing efforts including brochures and newsletters, presentations and advertisements, maps and aerials, data visualizations and spreadsheets, email marketing and social media, and videos and website design
  • Prepare and proofread written materials including marketing copy, business communications, reports, newsletters, and presentation scripts, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Preflight and package files for print production, including coordination and quote requests from local vendors
  • Confer with internal and external stakeholders during the design process
  • Maintain brand guidelines and act as a brand steward to ensure consistency across the entire company and project touch-points
  • Participate in the ongoing development of company brand identity
  • Maintain an awareness of current trends and practices in the graphic design, marketing, and communications fields
  • Analyze marketing and communications programs and make recommendations to adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness
  • Responsible for tracking invoices and expenses against budget Maintain and organize design files and company photos consistently
  • Additional projects as assigned

  • Creative sensibility in typography, composition, and hierarchy to convey concepts effectively and persuasively
  • Superior written and verbal communication with outstanding writing, proofreading, and copy-editing abilities 
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills coupled with an eagerness to work and collaborate with a team
  • Customer-first mentality to provide efficient and courteous support to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Ability to prioritize, embrace new challenges, and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
  • Uncompromised attention to detail and high standards for quality work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, graphic design, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite focused on InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Proficiency in email marketing automation (Mailchimp preferred)
  • Basic web design (WordPress) and video production/editing (Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or other interactive data visualization tool is a plus Knowledge of the healthcare or real estate industry is a plus but not required
