The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for executing both traditional and inbound marketing campaigns for efficientC to increase lead generation. Inclusive of planning, design, and delivery of activities which drive growth in market share and brand awareness. The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for customer experience to and from any marketing automation campaign, including lead generation through digital tactics (social, email, display ads), and will be responsible for representing the company consistently by following brand standards and digital best practices. He/she will develop and report on metrics and analytics to measure results of marketing and sales efforts.

Essential duties and responsibilities of the Marekting and Communications Specialist include but are not limited to:

  • Lead Generation - Build and execute inbound marketing strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
  • Email Marketing - Identify target audience and grow our database. Drive engagement and retention by creating, testing, and optimizing user notifications, product updates, and more
  • Content Strategy - Deploy successful content offers and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Social Media - Manage site design and operation as it relates to company website, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets.
  • Reporting and Analytics - Establish and maintain reporting metrics that provide trending data and ROI on all marketing initiatives
  • Qualified candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, communications, or a related field, plus at least 2-5 years’ experience in a marketing role
  • Proven work experiences with inbound marketing and automation using a marketing platform (e.g. HubSpot or Marketo)
  • Hands on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection, package design, etc
  • Basic understanding of HTML a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop a plus)
  • Expertise in social media platforms
  • Familiarity with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools (e.g. Moz and Google Keyword Planner)
  • Proven results establishing and owning lead general activities
  • 2 years+ experience driving blog rhythm and social engagement
