Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Marketing Automation Campaign Specialist will have a strong understanding of customer experience and email marketing best practices to apply them in collaboration with our Marketing Automation Experience Architect.

You will be part of the Demand Generation to Revenue team within the US Digital Resource Center (US DRC).

You will be working to integrate marketing automation into our core websites and digital experiences. Working hand in hand with the business digital experience leaders and marketers you’ll collaborate on campaign architecture and then be charged with implementation of emails, landing pages and forms. The ideal candidate will work at the tactical level to develop campaigns, execute test plans, ensure deliverability and provide performance metrics. This role will also be responsible for representing 3M consistently by following brand standards and adhering to digital best practices. You will also be accountable for customer data capture that is pulled into the marketing automation system and pushes to our CRM and will be well versed in digital lead to revenue management and practices.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Collect digital content assets that align to a campaign brief and create emails, landing pages and embedded forms to be utilized in the campaign 
  • Build campaign canvases/flow that aligns with the goals and objectives of the campaign architecture that was developed with the business digital experience leader 
  • Develop controls on all data inputs and outputs to drive data cleanliness 
  • Leverage data and testing tools to optimize and improve email and landing page metrics 
  • Track and report performance of marketing assets and tie their activity to relevant sales campaigns 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on marketing automation best practices

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution 
  • Minimum of three (3) combined years of experience in marketing automation, email, and/or web marketing in aprivate, public, government or military environment
  • Experience with marketing automation software such as, Eloqua, Pardot, Marketo, etc. 
  • Experience with CRM software such as, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Superior Oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail 
  • Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization to explain and gain support for initiatives 
  • Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less and a track record of staying on budget and on schedule 
  • Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution 
  • Proven experience working with Oracle Eloqua and Salesforce.com 
  • Experience in B2B and distribution 
  • Customer journey mapping and marketing system utilization experience

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international.
