Nelson Schmidt is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to develop, deploy and manage marketing automation solutions for client and agency growth.

 You must:

  • Have deep technical experience with Marketo and/or other marketing automation platforms particularly in the area of translating strategies into effective marketing automation workflows.
  • Manage end-to-end email campaign production and execution, including campaign set up, list segmentation, deployment and reporting.
  • Implement direct marketing best practices, including email best practices, with knowledge of CAN-SPAM laws, content creation.
  • Participate in personalized content marketing strategies.
  • Manage targeting strategies to improve engagement, manage list pulls and maintain a calendar to track member communications and ensure a balance between deliverability and promotions
  • Continuously analyze results of campaigns and make recommendations for workflow improvement.
  • Care deeply about the customer experience and customer journey for leading brands.
  • Be comfortable in an analytics-driven environment. Love data and tracking performance.
  • Enjoy innovating in a test-and-learn environment.
  • Be interested in trends and best practices for direct, search and content marketing and automation.
  • Be experienced with building customer relationships through marketing automation.

In this role you would:

  • Support the definition of a contemporary direct marketing service capability for our agency and clients.
  • Participate in the set-up, customization and deployment of a Marketo marketing automation platform for client and marketing initiatives.
  • Have accountability for the results of client and agency campaigns utilizing marketing automation solutions.
  • Help to accurately scope (resource/time/budget) all marketing automation programs and deliverables working closely with account service and project management teams.
  • Work on projects end-to-end from scoping requirements to guiding implementation and post-program analysis.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including creative, media, public relations and account planning professionals and vendors.

You will be considered if you have:

  • Experience in creating, managing and analyzing results of marketing automation campaigns.
  • Previous hands-on technical experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, ActOn and others and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics, Pipeline and others.
  • Have experience in business-to-business and consumer marketing environments.
  • Experience with A/B testing to optimize content, offers and audience segmentation.
  • A record of outstanding work quality, productivity, problem solving and time management.
