Division Information:

The Interventional business unit at Teleflex consists of innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and or treat cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary interventions, vascular access, tissue acquisition, specialty biologic treatments, and mechanical cardiac assist. Our current Interventional products include a broad range of clinically relevant solutions, such as our GuideLiner® and Turnpike® Catheters, AC3 OptimusTM Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, and OnControl® Powered Bone Access System. Opportunity:

Develops and implements the marketing communications plans and associated projects in support of the Interventional Strategic Business Unit. The Manager will partner with key stakeholders in developing and executing strategic and tactical integrated marketing communiction plans that support growth objectives, engage target audiences, and drives sales. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for integrating efforts of both cross functional teams and agency partners to ensure seamless execution in all communication channels. Beyond successful development and execution, establishing metrics to measure and report on strategic business objectives is required.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads the development, creative direction, and execution of the following at the SBU level, as required.

  • Marketing Communication Mix of Launch Plans/Campaigns 
  • Trade Shows & Events, including plan & execution tools 
  • Public Relations Plans & Execution (Press Releases, Media Copy) 
  • Digital Marketing, Web Strategy and Maintenance 
  • Spec Sheets, Videos, Brochures, Presentations, Case Studies, Direct Mail, Email Blasts 
  • Measurement and reporting

Manage or Provide:

  • Copywriting/Editing of Content/Messaging 
  • Compliance with corporate master brand guidelines 
  • Compliance with regulatory guidelines 
  • Manage and leverage marketing assets 
  • Vendor selection, SOW, and Budget Execution with Partners 
  • Manage product claims database 
  • Manage Regulatory/Legal Review Process 
  • Manage Trademarks and Registrations 
  • Marketing communication budget level initiatives 
  • Effective relationships with professional societies 
  • Liaison with Corporate Brand marketing

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of medical device communications experience at management level 
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) 
  • Master's Degree (preferred) 
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel, Word, and PPT; Adobe Creative Suite experience; web & email marketing experience

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret and analyze marketing plans to develop appropriate communications program strategies and tactics 
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment from concept through development, review and timely implementation required 
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
