Ecolab is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to lead the North America Marketing Communications strategy and execution for the Life Sciences business. This position is responsible for the development, management and execution of marketing communication programs and activities in North America. This position will drive brand awareness activities, accelerate our digital marketing strategy, coordinate with Marketers to support the launch of new programs and products and own our Trade Show strategy and execution. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, experience creating a range of communications materials and experience managing all communications channels. In addition, a successful candidate will have a strong drive for results, be comfortable developing strategy and making recommendations about a path forward, be able to synthesize multiple opinions and ideas, and be highly collaborative.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and manage North America Life Sciences marketing communications segment/program material and lead the planning of communication projects, including brand awareness initiatives, digital content strategy and program launches 
  • Develop messaging and integrative marketing concepts (advertisements, Social Media strategies, industry partnerships/sponsorships, etc.) and deliver content that supports the business’ brand awareness strategy 
  • Develop and manage strategic digital marketing programs for Life Sciences North America including the ecolab.com website, internal website, Social Media strategy, SEM and SEO recommendations 
  • Coordinate with Marketing program leads to develop customer collateral aligned to programs and product launches and to develop internal Sales/team training programs and collateral 
  • Set Trade Show and Customer Conference strategy for Life Sciences North America and lead its coordination and execution 
  • Develop and manage agency relationships 
  • Manage communications budget and calendar

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred focus in Communications, Business and/or Marketing or relevant liberal arts degree (English, Economics) 
  • 8 years of experience in marketing communications activities, digital strategies and execution and sales support 
  • Trade Show and Social Media experience 
  • Project management experience 
  • Proficiency with Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SiteCore, CRM, Exact Target and Marketing Cloud

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Communications or related graduate degree 
  • Strong communication/writing, design and video skills 
  • Experience developing and executing on brand awareness strategies, value propositions and program/product campaigns for service-based business 
  • Demonstrated project management skills: scope definition, budget, quality, time, etc. 
  • Leadership and managerial skills both internally and with multiple vendor partners 
  • Knowledge of web content management system and e-marketing systems 
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics marketing automation platforms, and other digital platforms 
  • Life Science, Pharmaceutical or Personal Care industry experience
