We have an immediate need for a Marketing Communications Specialist at Sloan's global headquarters in Franklin Park, IL. This position is responsible for managing and implementing effective marketing and communications plans and projects to support the company's demand generation efforts. Specifically, this individual is responsible for communications vehicles including advertising, direct marketing, channel newsletters, email, tradeshows, data analysis, website content, social media, public relations, literature and promotional materials. This individual will also support lead generation programs including project management and measuring, monitoring and reporting on program effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of effective and relevant internal and external sales channel communications. Coordinates the review and approval of all marketing communications material. 
  • Project management of communications for product launches and promotional campaigns as well as analysis of campaign success based on marketing KPIs. 
  • Manage the development and placement of company and product advertising in various media channels including print and digital to support brand and product demand generation goals. 
  • Initiate and manage the development, implementation and result analysis of lead generation campaigns; leveraging vehicles such as CEUs, tradeshows, email marketing, e-newsletters and webinars. 
  • Produce marketing copy for emails, e-newsletters, social media and website content creation. 
  • Manage and coordinate the creation and review of all public relations content including press releases, articles and case studies. 
  • Manage the fulfillment process of literature, promotional items and customer support materials. 
  • Provides analytics, reports and enter data in product management system or other tools as required. 
  • Responsible for keeping communication schedules and calendars up-to-date for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing communications or related field 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong planning and project management skills 
  • Experience in brand and product positioning 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present and promote concepts to others 
  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter 
  • Strong knowldege of data analysis and highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Creativity ability to take concepts and translate them into campaigns that drive customer engagement and conversion 
  • Communication skills to create comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to various value chain participants 
  • Demonstrated capability to write copy
