JP Cullen’s Industrial Division does a wide range of projects in the Food and Beverage, Chemical, Power Generation, Manufacturing, and Steel market place.

Marketing Director-Industrial

Reports to the VP of Industrial and the VP of Marketing and BD. The Marketing Director - Industrialis responsible for managing, administering, and supporting the Business Development and Marketing efforts of the Industrial Division. The Marketing Director - Industrial will take the lead on and/or assist the VP of Industrial, PMs, Estimators, BDs, and Marketing Coordinator/Assistant to help secure profitable work across the division.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the identification and assessment of BD opportunities within the Industrial Division’s targeted market sectors.
  • Support capture plan strategies with the VP of Industrial, PM, and BD for specific negotiated projects, as the case may be.
  • Lead and supervise the creation, development, and production of effective proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials for Industrial.
  • Develop and manage the implementation of a comprehensive and aligned marketing plan for the Industrial Division’s strategic initiatives.
  • Promote visibility of JP Cullen in the Industrial market sectors through PR and participation in industry sponsored events and awards
  • Supervise and manage a Marketing Coordinator/Asst. on their workload, schedules, and priorities
  • Participate in the planning, scheduling, and implementation of Industrial customer related activities for specific key accounts
  • Participate in industry associations and attend industry events, conferences, and tradeshows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or Business.
  • Three-five years of experience in marketing for the AEC industry or business to business marketing and business development.
  • Works independently and as a team towards a common goal.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing plans.
  • Complete tasks with minimal direction.
  • Delivers high quality work products.
  • Organized and keeps the team moving towards the common goal.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills a must. Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
  • Working knowledge of graphics and print media.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
