Northwoods Web Solutions is looking for a proven, digitally savvy marketing leader to help us strategically grow and take our innovative offerings to market.

Responsibilities and Skill Areas:

  • Oversee creation and implementation of the marketing strategy - campaigns, events, digital marketing, websites and PR
  • Development and implementation of brand strategies
  • Develop and deliver marketing and communication strategies and roadmap for the organization
  • Develop cross-channel marketing strategy for new and existing services
  • Work closely with the business development team, enabling them to meet their objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
  • Develop internal communications process and standards
  • Offer expert advice to develop innovative advertising, public relations, social media and events
  • Conduct continuous analysis of competitive environments and consumer trends
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Provide short and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data
  • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives

Knowledge and Experience:

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
  • 7-10 (or more) years of web experience
  • Portfolio of branding experience
  • Digital marketing experience a plus 
  • Portfolio of campaign experience and results
Additional Skills:
  • Listening
  • Expert understanding of a standard branding process
  • Understand web design concepts, usability and other best practices
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Skills in Microsft Office, CMS platforms
  • Understanding of interactive design processes and lingo
  • Enjoy collaborating with a sales team
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Understanding of software engineering processes and lingo is a plus
  • You know that family comes first and want to work with link-minded people
