Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead NAMSA events from concept to launch while working closely with marketing communications, product management, and sales to execute an effective event strategy. Ensure events deliver measureable results, remain within budget, and create new opportunities for sales engagements. 
  • Develop and maintain the global sales and marketing event calendar with a detailed timeline and status for tradeshows, conferences, training series, webinars and the annual sales meeting. 
  • Manage and communicate with all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure the successful planning and execution of all event programs. 
  • Design and execution of all logistics for training, webinars, events, tradeshows and conferences. 
  • Manage resource allocation through NAMSA Speaker Bureau. 
  • Collaborate closely with EMEA and APAC commercial teams to replicate successes, share best practices, and build a cohesive global brand experience across NAMSA Events programs. 
  • Responsible for reporting metrics of lead management and follow up of all marketing events.
  • Proactively manage budgets and forecasts, purchase orders, accounts receivable, and budget reconciliation with Finance. 
  • Responsible for tracking progress and outcomes across various key performance indicators (KPIs) around event revenue, efficiency, ROI, and Leads. Report progress and key insights regularly, making adjustments to plans as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event planning, communications, public relations, or business administration strongly preferred 
  • 5+ years of successful experience in event marketing, field marketing, and/or demand generation 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and time management skills 
  • Aptitude to deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Strong project management skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within agreed timeline and budget 
  • Efficient and effective meeting management skills through goal oriented discussions to deliver timely, collaborative, and the best possible outcomes 
  • Fluency in English and local language, if different, required. 
  • High level of detail in editing and proofreading required 
  • Previous experience in Medical technology industry preferred 
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or WordPress CMS preferred 
  • Certified Meeting Planner or equivalent project management experience preferred

Technical Competencies:

  • Knowledgeable of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the event management field.
