Where we came from:
Over 45 years ago, we were created by Wisconsin educators for Wisconsin educators. No other financial organization can say this.
Who we serve:
WEA Member Benefits has been helping Wisconsin public school employees and their families achieve their financial goals by providing personal insurance, retirement and investment, and financial planning programs that are designed specifically for the education community.
How we do business:
We operate as a trust that reinvests any profits back into programs that benefit participants. We have no shareholders. This allows us to focus on meeting the needs of those we serve with high quality products that are competitively priced rather than increasing profits. Outstanding customer service is what you can expect from Member Benefits. In fact, we have one of the highest customer retention and satisfaction rates in the industry.
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the communications and marketing department by participating in a wide range of marketing activities that promote WEA Member Benefits’ products and services to members, prospects, and other audiences. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, critical thinker who will work to ensure messages are consistent with the overall brand and meet company standards to maintain and promote a positive image on behalf of the organization. The Marketing Intern is a flexible, part-time paid position, not to exceed 20 hours per week.
