Action for Healthy Kids® (AFHK) is looking for an individual to join as a Part-time Marketing Manager, based in Chicago, IL.
You:
The part-time Marketing Manager is a dynamic, self-motivated individual. This position provides highlevel marketing support of the cross-functional work of the Marketing Communications Team and works closely with and reports to the Vice President, Marketing Communications. This position has the potential to evolve into a full-time position.
Part-time Marketing Manager Accountabilities:
Support marketing program development and execution and bring creative strategic thinking on a variety of initiatives, including AFHK’s cause marketing and brand campaign, sponsorship activations, and other annual activities.
- Support/implement communications and marketing plans and tactics and evaluate effectiveness of strategies and activities.
- Support/implement event management and brand activations.
- Work with brand ambassadors and third-party vendors (e.g., graphic design, photography, video, content distribution, survey/research)
- Curate impact stories and write press materials, news and success stories, blogs, op-eds, white papers, speeches, promotional materials, and impact reports.
Collaborate with Content & Online Engagement Manager
- Ideate and provide content ideas/materials to support overall content calendar
- Share role of building/disseminating email marketing and online content
Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week.
Travel: 5-10% travel may be required to offsite events.
Compensation:
Action for Healthy Kids offers a highly competitive hourly rate for part-time work commensurate with experience. Vacation and holiday time commensurate with number of hours worked per week. Eligible to participate in organization’s 403B plan.
