Illinois Action for Children’s Marketing Project Manager is the glue that helps keep projects – and people – together. A successful Marketing Project Manager will take responsibility for planning, organizing, managing, and executing projects from beginning to end. The project scope can vary widely, from single pieces of collateral to multifaceted, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
The Marketing Project Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Communication and will collaborate closely with a team of 20+ recently appointed Marketing Liaisons who each represent programs and departments throughout the agency. The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for identifying and assigning resources, both internal and external, to complete various tasks within a project, while also creating and managing detailed schedules. The Marketing Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within the budget parameters stated and approved.
Another key function of the Marketing Project Manager is conducting an initial review and assessment of marketing project requests in order to ensure that all necessary information has been provided and that any potential roadblocks related to resources, budgets, and/or timelines have been identified and mitigated.
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Project Manager is responsible for fulfilling IAFC’s goals and objectives as they relate to the work of External Relations. This includes support for marketing, communications, development and special events. All work to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Organization standards.
