Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to join our team to support the organization’s overall marketing efforts. This is a part-time role with Lake Country Manufacturing (20-25 hours). You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion. The Marketing Specialist will support the day-to-day customer facing functions of our business. You will be responsible to implement marketing and advertising campaigns and tracking results. A strong content and design background is needed in this role. You can work partially remote but must be in the Milwaukee/Madison area to work in office as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high level marketing and brand strategies that are in-line with the company's strategic direction 
  • Execute marketing strategies across multiple channels and implement tactical plans to meet goals and objectives 
  • Responsible for the enhancement of the creative vision across all mediums and its consistent usage 
  • Work cross functionally to ensure accurate and timely execution 
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization,advertising, events planning etc.) 
  • Develop and deliver tools, collateral, and processes that support the sales teams in delivery of value propositions, promotions and lead generation including print pieces, emails, advertisements, web pages, proposals, blogs and reporting 
  • Work closely with Sales and Operations on marketing campaigns for new product launches 
  • Manage and execute creative presence at trade shows and events, including all aspects of creative ideation, logistical planning, execution, wrap-up and evaluation 
  • Conduct market research to better understand client and prospect habits and trends 
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns through social, digital and traditional channels 
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies 
  • Consistently monitor the LCM brand Update website as needed 
  • Work with and manage partnerships with 3rd party vendors

Experience Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a creative marketing field, preferably with experience working in consumer-facing brands 
  • Demonstrated strategic planning skills and strong critical thinking aptitude, with an emphasis on marketing strategy and development 
  • Experience coordinating, attending, managing and evaluating trade show events 
  • Exemplary writing and copywriting skills are required 
  • Past experience in new product launches to the market 
  • Ability to foster relationships with appropriate media partners 
  • Must have graphic design abilities, with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Powerpoint) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design). 
  • Familiarity with social media channels 
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities simultaneously 
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a high level of enthusiasm 
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience

Part-time, hourly but permanent role. No freelancers please. Looking for someone that can become an integrated, dedicated, internal team member
