Marketing Specialist

This multi-faceted position plays a critical role in the project management department and works to ensure the successful completion of all digital marketing initiatives. This position will offer excellent growth opportunities and hands-on experience with all aspects of digital marketing. Job responsibilities:

• Implement email marketing campaigns, including writing content and segmenting lists

• Execute paid/PPC marketing campaigns, including writing content and setting up ads

• Participate in social media campaigns, including brainstorming ideas, scheduling, writing and posting content

• Complete SEO tasks, including include keyword research, writing SEO content & metadata, creating weekly ranking reports and fixing errors in Google Search Console

• Perform simple graphic design tasks as needed, such as graphics for email marketing, social media, banner and PPC ads

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing

• Must have one to four years of related work experience in digital marketing, project management, account coordination or related field. Recent graduates must have internship experience. On-the-job training will be provided as needed.

• Basic knowledge of, or experience with, the following:

                - email marketing tools such as Mail Chimp, Campaign Monitor and Constant Contact
                - paid advertising platforms such as Google Adwords, Bing Ads and Facebook Ad Mgr
                - social marketing tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite and HubSpot

• Strong writing skills (writing samples required)

• Basic skills with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign a plus

• Basic knowledge of web design principles & development platforms, such as HTML, Drupal and Word Press a plus

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with strong capabilities in Excel a plus
