THE JOB

Media Lead

broadhead is looking for another bull to join the Engage team. As a Media Lead, you’re a curious thinker who can balance the rigor and creativity of every media opportunity. You make big ideas come to life – and aren’t afraid to try something that has never been done before. Always a strategic thinker, you’ll partner with all departments, lead the media planning work for several clients, and contribute to the overall positive culture at Broadhead.

THE LIFE

Day-to-day work life will include, but is not limited, to the following:

  • Lead and/or participate in pre-planning clients’ meetings to gather input and establish strategic direction. 
  • Craft integrated media plans that will help big ideas break through the clutter and produce outstanding results. 
  • Use effective communication to present media plans to clients. 
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with media partners. 
  • Stay on top of, and share knowledge with colleagues on, media trends and emerging media opportunities to encourage the best work possible. 
  • Monitor metrics and provide insights on media plans. 
  • Work as a team with Media Director and Media operations.

THE MEASURABLES OF SUCCESS

Every job has a level of abilities and expectations; here are a few of ours:

  • Understanding of media planning fundamentals. 
  • Experience with most types of media – social media a plus 
  • College degree in Marketing or related field
  • 4+ years of experience working in an agency media department or in-house media department. 
  • Ability to present complicated media plans in a simplified form to clients. 
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in computer accessed media tools and databases. 
  • Organizational skills that would make Martha Stewart proud. 
  • Skill at interpersonal relationships and ability to interact with individuals from all areas of the industry, both internally and externally. 
  • Ability to handle details with accuracy. 
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to constant change. 
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions. 
  • Ability to apply strategic planning skills to the media planning process. 
  • Ability to problem-solve, work under pressure, and to effectively manage stress.
