PR Assistant Account Executive

We're looking for an aspiring public relations and social media pro to join our team. The qualified candidate will have strong foundational PR experience, likely from an internship program or similar work history, and a working knowledge of how to apply social media in the real world, using real news and relevant content. If you're the right candidate, then you're a problem solver, a team player and a great writer.

You'll support a team and assigned accounts by providing day-to-day tactical execution. This will include tracking media placements, writing compelling media materials and engaging with journalists and producers to tell great stories. Daily activities will include:

• Media clip tracking, reporting, pitching and networking
• PR and social media account support
• Management of editorial and event calendars

We're open to a wide range of communications-based experience, but here are some qualifying guidelines:

• You must be intellectually curious while always maintaining a desire to tell the next great story for your client 
• You must have an action-oriented default setting 
• You must be able to write for news media 
• You should be comfortable with a fluid, autonomous and professional environment
