Job Description:

This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day marketing and communication materials and content needs of Wealth Management Solutions (WMS). This role will support the administrative aspect of the department including coordination of material review, publishing and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify outstanding teamwork and a desire to play a supporting role in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excel in supporting the implementation and monitoring of communication initiatives and marketing materials (emails, articles, updates, sales materials, etc.) aimed at promoting wealth management products and solutions to advisors, clients and sales personnel. 
  • Model a passion for communications and exceptional attention to detail and proof reading skills while reviewing content for spelling, grammar, and adherence to Ameriprise’s Brand and Style guidelines. 
  • Demonstrate your commitment to compliance along with strong organization and partnership skills when submitting content in our regulatory system (AdTrax) and teaming with reviewers to obtain required approvals within established priority, levels of service and delivery dates. This includes supporting required annual reviews of existing materials. 
  • Showcase your commitment to client service by ensuring that advisors receive and/or can easily access content by preparing Emails in our Marketing Communication tool (Eloqua), creating and maintaining easy to navigate intranet sites (AdvisorCompass, eCatalog, etc.) and partnering to review and maintain the stocking of print materials.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or another related field. 
  • 2+ years’ related experience, preferably in Financial Services. 
  • Exceptional proof reading skills and attention to detail. 
  • Experience implementing marketing and communication deliverables. 
  • Experience working within corporate brand and style guidelines. 
  • Experience with software including: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office. 
  • Exceptional communication, project management and organizational skills. 
  • Proven ability to multi-task and communicate with partners to set time lines and priorities. 
  • Fast learner who asks questions to build knowledge and trust. 
  • Thrives in a support role within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Exceptional teamwork and service ethic. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently. 
  • Demonstrated writing skills, including content research and audience strategies. 
  • Capable of interacting with variety of individuals cross-organizationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using AdTrax, Eloqua and/or WorkFront. 
  • Knowledge of Ameriprise functions and processes or the ability to quickly learn. 
  • Knowledge of financial products and services.
