The Project/Account Manager manages the day-to-day production and delivery of all artwork for the digital, point-of-purchase and packaging environment.

The Project/Account Manager role will encompass the following:

  • Superb client service 
  • Project planning, timeline and resource setup 
  • Interaction with all internal strategic, artworking, estimating, billing and time/cost functions 
  • Interaction with all external client contacts and outside suppliers 
  • Develop the relationship with our clients by confidently representing and proposing the full scope of services we provide 
  • Define scope of work (SOW) for each project, ensure SOW is followed and client expectations are met 
  • Ensure both our creative and accuracy standards are met

The above will be executed on within agreed timelines, and to the highest quality levels in order to deliver completed assets on time and within budget.

You gain a thorough understanding of our services and products. Then, using persuasive techniques and demonstrated expertise, educate and inform the client on our current and potential service offerings, while relating these offerings to solving their business objectives.

You will handle all aspects of client service and communication, and the ability to do so proactively and confidently is essential.

Responsibilities:

The following items outline responsibilities pertaining to the Project/Account Manager role. Includes (but not limited) to the following on a per project basis:

Project Planning

  • Set up of SOW, time estimates, project planning and meeting framework and cadence. Manage meeting agendas, minutes and action plans
  • Facilitate risk and issue management as appropriate
  • Interact with internal strategic and artworking stakeholders to gather and coordinate all information required for the creation of project creative brief and localization project plans
  • Ensure clients are aware of, and considering, our complete portfolio of services with all projects and brand initiatives

Asset List Management

  • Check and validate that supplied asset lists have the correct information and are complete. Perform direct follow up with internal and client teams as appropriate 
  • Ensure that all project-related data is up to date at all times in job management tools as well as any ancillary tools or reporting mechanism

Project Execution

  • Lead the execution of all projects 
  • Responsible for project detail and supplying high quality, actionable status reports/call summaries 
  • Management of all appropriate workflows, ensuring all compliance checkpoints are included, and executed 
  • Ensure that all issues experienced are accurately recorded in the Issue tracker (or equivalent) 
  • Monitor all internal and external schedules and milestones, applying timely and rigorous escalation when necessary in order to meet schedules and maintain the highest quality standards 
  • Effectively manage updates and changes to SOW, ensuring these are completed in a timely manner and with appropriate communication to relevant stakeholders

Post Mortem

  • Record all appropriate information for Post Mortem use 
  • Ensure all information is updated in job management tools upon completion of a project 
  • Active participation in Post Mortems providing constructive, value added input 
  • Invoice all projects in a proactive, timely fashion with full transparency on cost, over or under budget and objective reasoning why so we can improve processes or replicate successful workflow
