Project Manager - Experiential
Job
Full-time
10/9/2018
Twin Cities Metro
Minneapolis, MN

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing high-profile projects that span a wide range of disciplines including promotional tours, activation, pop-ups, events, digital executions and PR. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years hands-on activation experience.

We seeking a candidate who embraces the unknown and enjoys a new set of challenges with every project. Most projects have no defined road map and it is the responsibility of the project manager to use agency tools and resources to develop a path to successful execution, oftentimes under tight timelines. In other words, this role relies heavily on one’s ability to be resourceful.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an environment where they are asked to wear many hats -- in addition to project management, the candidate will also have frequent interaction with clients and may be required to at times be their main day-to-day contact.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and managing projects from conception to execution including research, production, creative development, vendor management, permitting, venue negotiation, budgeting, etc.
  • Occasional client-facing materials including status memos, budgets, billing, presentations, etc.
  • Brainstorming / ideating concepts

Requirements:

  • Strong background producing events
  • 3+ years of project management working in a variety of disciplines rooted in event marketing (activations, pop-ups, digital, mobile marketing, etc.)
  • Ability to identify client and project needs and take action without direction
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of industry landscape and relevant cultural trends
  • Comfortable taking a “hands-on” approach to event management
  • Ability to travel regularly for projects (30-50%)
