BBB Serving Wisconsin is looking for a part-time Public Relations and Investigative Intern. This paid internship is a hands-on position and is ideal for students majoring in public relations, communications or criminal justice.

The primary function of the PR and Investigative Intern will be working on research, helping to contact media to pitch stories, writing press releases, assisting with case investigations, file analysis' (looking for a pattern in complaints), interviewing complainants to obtain additional information, etc.

  • Current college student or recent graduate studying Public Relations, Communications, Criminal Justice, Business or other relevant program.
  • Willingness to seek answers and take direction.
  • Willingness to take initiative and work independently.
  • Strong writing and editing skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent, investigative-like research skills and ability to use the Internet for this purpose.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Passion for investigative and enterprise journalism and great ideas!
