**This role must work out of our Brookfield, WI office**

The Renewal Business Manager is focused on retaining and growing current accounts by fostering and building relationships with our clients. The role serves as the primary business contact for Equips’ clients. They will also facilitate the sales process around renewals. This is a very proactive role as the Renewal Business Manager is the face and voice of Equips and requires confident interactions with decision makers, including C-Level Clients. This role reports to the Director of Accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Relationship manager for assigned accounts
  • Creates, approves and delivers renewal management packages for accounts utilizing team support as needed
  • Ensure renewals are sent at minimum 60 days in advance and work to secure all Renewals before current term expiration
  • Protect and grow the renewal revenue by selling the value of maintenance, meeting targets while minimizing losses or reductions
  • Regularly corresponds with contacts in each account by face to face meetings, phone, email, webinar/GoToMeeting to assure retention and growth of account
  • Communicates the client’s goals and represents the client’s interests to the teams, and report analysis to customers on an ongoing basis
  • Researches and evaluates strategies to provide success in the continued retention and growth of accounts
  • Has an excellent understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client
  • Leads key milestone reviews while staying informed on industry trends
  • Works with Underwriting, Product and Service teams to plan and maximize profitability
  • 3+ years of experience renewing business with decision makers; contract experience is a plus
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is flexible and can effectively work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
  • Demonstrated superior customer service in a client facing role
  • Self-motivated – able to solve problems and make decisions in a timely manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
  • Detail-oriented, accurate work production including presentation documents
  • Able to work autonomously, think creatively, manage projects while embracing Equips core values
  • Travels as required to support the functions outlined – approximately 30% (subject to fluctuation)
  • Technical competence - PC proficient with experience in Excel, CRM’s and Microsoft Office
