Senior Graphic Designer

Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate graphic designer with a foundation in fundamentally strong design and an absolute zeal for marketing. This person will have an innovative and collaborative spirit, a “strategic-thinker” brain, never be satisfied with adequacy, and be willing to push themselves to grow every single day.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teammates to create a consistent and compelling visual style for various promotions and initiatives
• Project manage multitude of various design projects
• Create and contribute, both visually and strategically, to all marketing initiatives
• Responsible for pre-flight and accurate verification of digital documents prior to release for production
• Process/manipulate digital images as per instructions
• Able to work and excel in a lightning fast-paced, intense, yet fun work environment
• Be nimble and open to providing and accepting feedback
• Research, learn, grow every single day…and embrace our belief that if you are not growing, you are regressing

Skills/Abilities and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years experience working in graphic design with a marketing focus; experience in an agency or collaborative team environment preferred
• Past people management experience with a proven ability to lead, manage and mentor junior marketing designers
• Mature, versatile creative skills supported by a top-shelf, no gimmicks, functional design aesthetic
• Must be driven by results, not by what “looks cool”
• Self-motivated, self-starter who takes pride in not meeting deadlines, but beating them to a pulp
• Must have a background in web/digital design and layout production and user interface design
• Hungry to immerse themselves in proven marketing strategy
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and new technologies is essential
• In-depth knowledge of strengths and limitations of web technologies Conversant in current web design/development tools, trends, web standards, and platforms.
• Highly proficient with using Adobe Creative Suite to produce web layouts, graphics, and assets
• Constant desire to learn and grow professionally and personally
• Experience with the following not required, but a plus: mobile platforms, Google analytics, direct response marketing principles, photography, Eugene Schwartz, identity design, scientific advertising methodologies and print production, Sketch
