Senior Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing creative concepts and executing designs across multiple digital and print platforms. As a key member of our Marketing department, the Senior Graphic Designer will help drive the development of the Surescripts brand by ensuring that the creative brief is fully explored and delivered to the highest standards. The candidate will work closely with the Creative Director and Marketing colleagues to translate business goals into unique creative opportunities.


  • Create strategic and inspiring design work from concept to completion. Projects will include but are not limited to: digital and print advertising, infographics, social media graphics, environmental/display design, product sales collateral, design for corporate events and presentations. 
  • Meet with internal clients and/or the Creative Director to review creative briefs to determine messaging direction and project scope. 
  • Present concept designs and ideas to internal clients. 
  • Prepare finished documents for print or online publishing and coordinate directly with vendors as needed. 
  • Consistently implement and communicate the standards of the brand visual identity. 
  • Work with the Creative Director to identify process gaps and opportunities.

Basic Requirements:

  • A minimum 4-6 years of professional experience as a graphic designer 
  • A BA/BFA/BS in graphic design 
  • A portfolio of design work 
  • In-depth knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of visual, interaction and branding trends 
  • A strong understanding of visual hierarchy, composition and typography 
  • Web/UI & HTML5 experience a plus 
  • Strong illustration/infographic design skills also a plus 
  • Experience targeting B2B audiences, preferably with a healthcare or technology company 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and deadlines concurrently 
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Curiosity and a love for creative problem solving 
  • Works well in a team environment 
  • Familiar with project management tools such as Confluence and JIRA 
  • Experience with Agile Marketing and/or Pragmatic Marketing
