You'll be our technical maven, whipping through Google Analytics optimizations and setting up complex funnel reports and SEO experiments, able to optimize a title tag in a flash. For you SEO isn't just about rankings or checking off an audit list like a mindless robot, it's about actually drilling down on what can help that client outmaneuver their competition. Knowing that SEO is constantly evolving and that a great SEO Strategist knows about more than just SEO, you'll be able to build and execute strategies that integrate with multiple channels such as PPC. And it's not your gut that guides your decision, it's the analytics, customer experience and best practices that will pave the way. If you think we've nailed your ideal job, let's talk.

Our team of strategic thinkers, tactical doers, and empowered experts are at our best when we're helping change the world. We aren't speaking metaphorically, many of our clients and their technology are indeed changing the world. From big, household name brands to the small shop that's building a prototype, we work with an incredible client roster to provide data-driven, holistic digital strategies so they can do it better. We don't just believe in explaining the what but providing actionable plans and ideas that would make any start-up growth marketer proud. In fact, we've built our marketing team around delivering value and strategic insight from SEO to Content to Content Strategies. We're aren't looking for just any technical expert to join our tight-knit, candid group of digital marketers, we're looking for a cultural fit that will challenge us to level up our value game even more. You truly love what you do and the thrill of doing truly good work, the kind that makes you tear up it's so good, is what fuels you to bring your "A game" every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver customized, best-in-class SEO and Digital Marketing strategies for our clients from idea to inception, partnering with Account Managers and the Marketing Team.
  • Perform daily SEO tasks including but not limited to audits, on-page optimizations, rankings and keyword research. And what’s more, you’ll package your analysis, so it aligns with business goals. Or be able to defend your hypothesis.
  • Lead, create and present meaningful analytics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence to internal stakeholders and clients. And use that data to build new strategies and constantly test new opportunities.
  • Constantly drive innovation and implement testing strategies to optimize, enhance learning and improve organic performance.
  • Partner closely with SEM, the Digital Marketing Specialist focused on SEO, and other SME's to ensure key insights are disseminated and put into action.
  • Find opportunities to improve efficiencies with the team, the company and key processes.
  • Conduct knowledge sharing and training sessions to key stakeholders and communicate relevant industry changes as it relates to SEO.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of on-page SEO, technical, keyword research, and search engine ranking factors. This one is a deal-breaker for us, so ensure if you're applying you've got it.
  • 5-7 years experience developing, executing and measuring SEO programs for small to large brands, with an emphasis on E-commerce sites.
  • 1-2 years working in PPC campaigns preferred. Broad Match Modifier for the win.
  • Mastery of tools such as Keyword Planner, Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Open Site Explorer and of course, Google Analytics to name a few. You'll have working knowledge in optimizing SEO in platforms like Shopify, Lemonstand, WordPress or Magento. If you really want to wow us, you'll have experience in Kentico or Kentico Cloud.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations to improve marketing experience. No really, this just doesn't mean pretty graphics or excel formulas. It's gotta be good.
  • Digital marketing experience and familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM), lead generation strategy, conducting A/B and multivariate testing and website optimization. VWO, Crazy Egg and Optimizely and A/B tests make your heart flutter.
  • Knowledge or experience working with Agile-based teams or environments is preferred. If you haven't worked in these or an agency, that's ok too.
