Sign Design Specialist / Production

We have a full-time opportunity for a talented, energetic and creative individual who likes bringing customers' visions to life. Must be comfortable with consulting with clients and capable of designing an identity for a new client, create technical renderings for architectural / electrical signage or simply changing a client’s file.

In addition, this team member will be responsible for: equipment operation to plot vinyl, print wide format images / graphics and lamination; performing daily and weekly file storage and system maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum productivity; and troubleshoot minor problems with computer systems and workflows as necessary. The Design Specialist will also assist in making the actual sign and graphics projects, taking the project from start through completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicates and consult effectively with customers and co-workers
• Develops creative concepts and graphic solutions exceeding customer expectations
• Operate and maintain wide format printers and vinyl plotters
• Takes project from conception through completion
• Works as a team member taking the project from conception through production & completion and install as needed.

• 1-2 years of experience in the sign industry
• A degree in Graphic Arts
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro. (Gerber, Flexi or Onyx a plus.)
• Must be an energetic self-starter who is driven to produce high quality products
• Strong work ethic, able to manage workload, prioritize multiple projects, and streamline the production flow
• Demonstrate strong multi-tasking simultaneously with attention to detail
• Expertise in color management, wide-format printing
• Able to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment with flexibility to respond to shifting priorities and to work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines.
