Social Media Internship

You’re an intellectually curious individual with a fierce passion for social and an eagerness to work hard. You can walk the line between art and science and are interested in speaking both creative and media.

As a Social Media Intern, you will be given a wide-range of social experience and responsibilities for a variety of consumer clients. Day-to-day tasks include assisting community management, content writing, paid social management, contesting and reporting as well as ideating and helping execute occasional off-the-wall stunts.

The Social Media Intern will assist in a fast-paced environment with multiple national and international clients. You might:

• Write social media copy for status posts, ads, contests
• Identify influencers to nurture social communities
• Assist in executing paid social ads using social ads platforms
• Work with various teams to create original branded content for communities (cinemagraphs, gifs, live-streams, infographics, short videos)
• Launch contests using tools such as OfferPop and Woobox
• Report and draw insights and optimizations using tools like Simply Measured, Crimson Hexagon, Sprout Social and Hootsuite

Qualification include:

• Currently enrolled in University-level education or recently graduated
• Ability to contribute 20 – 30 hours per week
• Social-media savvy, a powerful writer and clever thinker with an understanding of social media best practices, content development, measurement and listening
• Well-spoken, well organized, detail-oriented and can operate with minimal supervision
• Understanding of the paid, owned, and earned media space as it relates to social media execution

Internships are paid, and with approval, are available for credit.
