The senior social media manager will report to the vice president of digital marketing, establish DFIN’s global social media strategy and position DFIN as an industry leader via its social communications.

You must be atrue strategistand leader and eager to create a best-in-class social media program that includes, but is not limited to:

  • supporting DFIN’s objectives, vision and mission via organic and paid social media initiatives 
  • establishing and managing DFIN’s social media strategy, KPIs, policies, standards, programs and resources 
  • selecting and managing resources, e.g., agencies, contractors, vendors, tools, etc. 
  • collaborating with internal and external teams, e.g., Marketing, Analytics, Web, IT, etc. to implement tracking mechanisms to measure and report program performance – Understand Google Analytics, UTM parameters for source tracking etc. 
  • collaborating with internal and external teams, e.g., HR, Legal, IT, PR, etc. to lead the creation and assist with the implementation of DFIN’s social media policy and social media standards 
  • collaborating with internal and external teams to create and implement employee advocacy, influencer engagement and thought leadership programs 
  • broadcasting live via Facebook, Periscope and YouTube 
  • supporting events via social media – strategy, execution and reporting 
  • integrating marketing automation, CRM, social media and other tools with existing tech stack
  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing or other related field 
  • 5+ years of organic and paid social media experience 
  • 5+ years of team and project management experience, including vendor selection and management 
  • 5+ years of organic and paid social media strategy and lead experience focused on lead generation, sales, customer service, influencer engagement, talent acquisition, employee advocacy, brand management, crisis management, etc. 
  • Demonstrated expert and hands-on experience in Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Analytics and Hootsuite Business Suite. 
  • Poised, professional and agile writer and presenter 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, goal-driven leader who can adapt quickly to his/her environment, prioritize his/her tasks, manage a budget successfully, meet campaign requirements and inspire and lead a team to achieve the organization’s goals 
  • Able to work outside normal business hours as needed for events and product launches. 
  • Willing to travel for work as needed 10-20%
