We currently have 5 internship opportunities:
VIP Program Intern – Data mining and qualifying prospects from industry lists, online research and in-house database. Objective is to compile 1,000 new, qualified, VIP-profile prospective attendee companies for the 2020 version of our flagship event, CONEXPO-CON/AGG (http://www.conexpoconagg.com/). Start: Immediate End: July/August – approximately 100 hours total
Technical Research & Support Intern – Review and summarize articles and findings on new, construction-related technology. Applicable findings will be pursued and used in the 2020 Tech Experience (http://www.conexpoconagg.com/visit/tech-experience/) or other educational programming. Ideal candidate will have an interest in engineering and construction. Start: Immediate End: December (possible extension into 2019)
Technology Solutions Intern – Identify vendors/resources for new technology solutions and trends that will ultimately enhance the AEM trade show experience for attendees and exhibitors. Examples would be onsite communication apps, vendor ordering and coordination, communications technology, and platforms for presenting new products. Start: Immediate End: December
International Marketing Intern (bilingual English/Spanish) – Support partner programs for our trade shows by reaching out to prospective partners (via phone and email) to establish relationships, finalize agreements and manage day-to-day questions. Strong written and verbal Spanish skills required, Portuguese a plus. Start: August 1 End: December (possible extension into 2019)
Meeting Logistics Intern – Requires knowledge of hospitality industry language, terms and standard processes related to sourcing a venue for meeting/event needs (including room blocks, function space, catering, A/V), experience with event BEOs (coordinating catering and A/V needs) and familiarity with typically offered hotel concessions. Start: Immediate End: December (possible full-time in 2019)
