Pivot Design’s Digital Team enables meaningful experiences between brands and their audiences. The team creates new platforms that drive customer engagement and business transformation, new channels to foster communication and exchange, and new tools to instrument intelligence and behaviors.

OVERVIEW:

The Vice President - Digital is responsible for the vision, growth and management of the Digital Team at Pivot Design across all offices. Responsibilities extend to providing strategic and creative guidance on digital and technology projects and processes across the agency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will oversee creative, planning, operations and resourcing for the digital team, which includes front-end development, back-end development, digital strategy, product management and technology management. 
  • Consulting with our clients and internal client teams on digital transformation and technology strategy for our clients. 
  • You will strategically guide digital work on our most critical and high-profile clients, building relationships with those clients and ensuring that Pivot Design’s deliverable connects effectively across development, user experience, design, content, strategy and creative as required. 
  • Manage and mentor the next level of leadership within the technology practice. 
  • You will lead internal digital and technology initiatives such as our agency website, and champion projects identified by agency leadership. 
  • Support and define standards and processes for digital work across the agency. 
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and drive technical experimentation within the agency. 
  • Participate in new-business development, including opportunity identification, RFP responses, pitching, proposal creation, estimating of hours and staff effort, SOW creation, and project planning 
  • Play an advisory role at the agency in the vetting and selection of new business technology and tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15+ years in digital creative development, technology consulting and digital transformation. 
  • Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring teams, with 10+ years in a supervisory role 
  • Computer science degree preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing technologies, including digital experience management, CMS, CRM, marketing automation and related platforms and tools. 
  • Track record of driving innovation and adopting emerging technology. 
  • Skilled facilitator and collaborator that is versed in design thinking 
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills to engage, persuade, and motivate clients, team members, and peers and to inspire collaboration 
  • Experience scoping, estimating and planning development projects 
  • Experience with DevOps and continuous integration processes 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to deal with ambiguity and constant change 
  • A desire to meet and work with an awesome team of people who all strive to deliver exceptional work together.
