Videographer

We’re hiring a videographer to help us launch an in-agency video studio. We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit to take advantage of this unique opportunity to help us build something from the ground up. You will help create the studio model, choose the equipment and software, and be a part of developing a new offering within a well-established advertising agency.

The ideal candidate has experience in all facets of video, from long form storytelling to short social snippets. The primary focus to start will be capturing stories in case study/testimonial style formats. You’ll be responsible for it all: shooting, audio, editing and graphics. And you’ll be directly collaborating with the art directors, designers, writers and developers in our creative and content groups.

SOME KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Attention to detail, quick thinking and proficiency behind the camera.

- Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, most importantly Premier and After Effects.

- Experience in sound design and programs such as ProTools. - Knowledge of color correction and overall color sweep.

- You keep up with trends, best practices, and technology in the area of cameras, lighting, sound design, color correction, editing software, plugins and presentation software (3rd party or public systems such as Vimeo).

- A producer’s mindset, with the ability to deliver a quality video product on time and on budget.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Your reel demonstrates the above-mentioned skills.

- Formal college education from a technical school or university is desirable but proven experience trumps education.
